Work in Progress, Wiring Harness and Instrument Panel

As the Glider Season has come to an end, Victor Telkamp his agenda leaves some more room to do some work on the re-building of our crashed Supermarine Aircraft Spitfire Mk.26B, PH-PSF “High Lady”. The wiring harness was transported to his house after he and Ruben Penterman had discovered that it was not as “Plug-and-Play” as hoped for. At his own house, Victor patiently took the time to figure out which wire was supposed to go where. Along the way, he found out that not all wires were of the required length, where needed he added some wiring.

Meanwhile the base instrument panel had been removed from High Lady. That panel served as a mould for the blanc instrument panel that Richard Snel had water cut, after that it was spray painted and mounted in Prinses Beatrix.

Next, the wiring harness could be placed. To that extend an ideal pass through spot had to be located at the fire wall.

Some nice progress made! And on we go! Thanks Victor!
