Harold Line started the discussion regarding strengthening the factory design construction to support the landing gear:
Good evening gentlemen. This is further to a previous request for pics and info on the front landing gear support bulkhead. This is what I got from the factory. I believe someone else here had a more robust support that went all across the c/s wing stub. When I do the repair, I’ll probably do something more like that as this just seems a bit flimsy.

22 December 2022 at 18:10 #1767Gray NurseParticipantYep, the one with the bearing being held in place by the faceplate now and after a few very firm landings and no more circuit breaker popping on the undercarriage, I am going to do the same modification on the other undercarriage. This is actually how the SMA installation instructions have it and I have found that having 3 x AN3 bolts to hold the bearing in place enough to stop total movement.
